Head of Public Sector

Lead Public Sector Growth. Drive Strategic Revenue.
Dragnet is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Public Sector to lead the pursuit, development, and conversion of high-value opportunities across government ministries, departments, agencies (MDAs), and related public-sector institutions.
This role will play a critical part in driving revenue growth by building strong government relationships, managing strategic opportunities, navigating procurement processes, and closing complex public-sector deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute public-sector sales and growth strategies.
- Identify, pursue, and close opportunities across MDAs, government agencies, and public-sector institutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior government stakeholders, procurement officers, and decision-makers.
- Drive opportunities related to government jobs, assessments, training, recruitment, and enterprise solutions.
- Lead proposal development, bid management, commercial negotiations, and deal closure activities.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and revenue forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure opportunities are properly scoped, priced, approved, and delivered.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline performance, deal progress, and market intelligence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–10 years' experience in Public Sector Sales, Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Institutional Engagement.
- Demonstrated success selling to government ministries, agencies, development institutions, or large public-sector organizations.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes, bid management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven track record of managing and closing high-value public-sector opportunities.
- Strong Abuja-based network within public-sector institutions is highly desirable.
- Experience in technology, assessment, recruitment, training, compliance, identity management, or enterprise solutions will be an advantage.
