Our client is a multi-sector group of companies dedicated to driving global impact and innovation. They build and enable systems and processes that power a limitless and sustainable future. Their portfolio spans consulting and government advisory, investment banking and finance, energy, technology, and manufacturing each led by its own executive team.

LOCATION: Wuse II, Abuja

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Our client is seeking an exceptional Growth & Partnerships Lead to serve as the Group's principal commercial driver, responsible for converting relationships and engagements into signed mandates across government advisory, investment banking, and SaaS technologies.

The role engages presidents, ministers, MDA chief executives, governors, central bank governors, commissioners of finance, DFIs, MDBs, pension fund administrators, and corporate principals. A number of these relationships are already established through the Group's founders and partners; the incumbent will be expected to assume responsibility for them, deepen them, and grow them, while also cultivating new relationships independently. Central to the role is the ability to identify a client's underlying need and determine which part of the Group, or which combination, is best positioned to address it.

This is not a transactional sales function. It is a relationship-led, advisory-oriented role suited to a professional who can secure commercial outcomes through trust and credibility rather than overt selling, and who is equally capable of developing a proposal or pitch deck as presenting it.

What We Are Looking For:

Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, International Development, Public Policy, or a related field.

Professional Experience: 5–8 years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships, investment banking, management consulting, or senior government and institutional relations, ideally with exposure to more than one of: the public sector, capital markets and financial services, or the technology ecosystem.

Track Record: Demonstrated success in closing meaningful B2G or B2B transactions, including advisory engagements, capital raises, partnerships, or technology deployments.

Network: Established relationships with public officials, DFIs/MDBs, financial institutions, or corporate decision-makers across Africa and/or the Middle East, or a demonstrable capacity to build such relationships rapidly.

Range: Ability to operate credibly across public finance, capital markets, and technology discussions, without requiring deep technical expertise in any single domain.

Discretion: A trustworthy professional who treats deal details, client relationships, and sensitive information as confidential as a matter of course; this is a firm requirement of the role.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building capability, with the presence and credibility to engage senior stakeholders and conclude commercial discussions in a manner consistent with the Group's advisory positioning.

Operating Style: A self-directed professional capable of managing mandates independently, with equal competence in proposal development and client presentation.

Desirable, not required: Familiarity with government procurement processes (tenders, expressions of interest, public bidding), and additional language proficiency such as French, Portuguese, or Arabic, given the Group's engagement across African and Middle Eastern markets.

Note: Only successful applicants will be contacted.

Application closes on the 24th of July 2026.
