Job purpose
To ensure that all molds and accessories brought to the workshop are repaired to standard and specification.
Responsibilities
•Repair mould and accessories to standard/specification for the production lines.
•Transfer all discharged mould and accessories from the production floor to the Mould Workshop for necessary actions.
•Ensure that all mould/accessories brought to the Mould Workshop are cleaned, repaired and inspected.
•Apply appropriate instruments, tools and equipment for every repair carried out on the bench and ensure that all mould parts are repaired to specifications
•Ensure a tidy working environment and observe all safety regulations
•Report writing
Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Glass Technology or related discipline
•1- 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
•Good communication oral/written and report writing skills
•Ability to use Microsoft Suites - Excel, Words and Power Point
•Experience in AutoCAD and drawing
