Job purpose
Coordinate production activities and ensure that good quality bottles are produced in line with the quality plan.
Responsibilities
•Ensure that activities concerned with job change are carried out in line with production requirements.
•Maintain and monitor effective supervision of the Forming Department with reference to quality and cleanliness of work areas
•Identify and rate the department's activities and develop programs where necessary to help control those activities that could have adverse impact on the environment.
•Ensure hygienic environment during production until packaging
•Ensure that CCPs are working at specified point and appoint an employee to monitor each CCP
•Ensure compliance with relevant Quality Management Systems (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and any other relevant management systems.
Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Glass Technology or related discipline
•4 - 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
•Good communication oral/written and report writing skills
•Ability to use Microsoft Suites - excel, words and power point
