Job Purpose

This role ensure that product qualities are confirmed against regulatory and customers’ specifications before dispatch to customers.

Responsibilities:

•Provide specifications, test-gauges and samples to guide user departments on monitoring product quality.

•Ensure quality checks (physical and instrumental) are conducted at the right time according to quality plan.

•Confirm the quality of products before they are released to warehouse and subsequently to customers.

•Generate and maintain quality test records in compliance with specifications and quality plan

•Ensures that test equipment and instruments are calibrated in accordance with specified operating practices.

•Monitors Lehr inspection to ensure prompt feedback of defects for corrections

•Train and motivate employees to carry out required quality tests efficiently to maintain competency and efficiency

•Conduct trend analysis of shift performance in terms of re-occurring defects per line

•Participate and support compliance to the requirements of ISO management systems subscribed to by the organization

Qualifications & Experience

•Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Glass Technology, Food Technology or any other related disciplines

•1-3 years’ experience

•Report writing and documentation skills

•Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

•Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
