Job Summary

Our client, a reputable manufacturing company based in Delta State, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to fill the position of Value Chain Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the entire value chain process, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and risk mitigation, to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement strategies for the company’s value chain in alignment with overall business goals.

- Manage sourcing and procurement functions, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials to support uninterrupted production.

- Optimize inventory levels to balance availability, cost, and space efficiency.

- Oversee logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing and transportation.

- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

- 10–12 years of relevant experience in supply chain or value chain roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP systems.

- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.

- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
